Where does the guide take you?

Starting outside St Clement’s Church, Colegate and finishing at Anteros on Fye Bridge Street, this 90 minute walking tour will take you on a voyage of discovery around the streets where it all began for our city.

Enter the merchant’s house itself

At the end of the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to step inside a 16th-century merchant’s house, uncovered in the late 1980s.

Perfect for those looking for a shorter route

If you’re not up for too much walking, this is one of our shorter walking tours at 0.7 miles long. Unfortunately, it is not wheelchair accessible due to the steps within the merchant’s house.
