Fancy giving us a go? Currently there are groups and activities available for you to join in Norwich and Great Yarmouth. It’s free to become a Shoebox community member but we suggest a donation of £3 per group to help cover costs. You can choose to donate as you go or to set up a regular donation.
By becoming a member, you’re not just helping to keep our doors open – you’re enabling more activities, community groups, and opportunities for connection.

‘Free’ Membership – Donations Welcome
Our peer support groups and social activities are partially funded by the profits from our experiences and tours and small grants but we rely on your generosity to keep them going.
We suggest a donation of £3 per group to help cover costs, but you’re welcome to contribute whatever you can afford. Some of our groups may have additional costs for materials or trips.
We know times are tough, and we don’t want money to stop you from being part of The Shoebox community. That’s why our weekly Community Coffee Mornings are always free of charge. If you’d like, you can make a donation toward teas, coffees, and running costs, but it’s completely optional.
Donations can be made in cash or by card at group sessions.

Open to all ages 18+, our community groups and activities invite you to come and get involved. Coffee meet-ups? Creative writing groups? Perhaps crochet makes you curious? We host all sorts. Whether you’re a dab hand, completely new to something, or want to share one of your own passions, join us for some fun, laughter, and a good chinwag.
